God Heals PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Restoration Miracles

You don't need me to define the problem or the symptoms.  Even though you have been this way for a very long time you don’t have to remain.  The key is to come to The Healer, Jesus Christ.

I am not a theologian.  I don't have academic Bible knowledge.  I can't layout an exhaustive theological dissertation of the biblical premises for healing.  I would like to.  My natural mind likes to understand what's going on but when it comes to healing it is not necessary for you to understand it with your brain.  It is essential that you believe with your heart. 

 God can do anything!  We usually don't have a problem with that statement.  We usually have a problem with 'will He?’  Does He want to?  Is it His will to heal and most specifically me, you.  The answer is an overwhelming YES He does want to heal you and me.  A father brought his sick son to Jesus (Mark 9:22,23)"...Have mercy on us and help us. Do something if you can." "What do you mean, 'If I can'?" Jesus asked. "Anything is possible if a person believes."  God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. (John 3:17)  Jesus was conceived supernaturally.  Herod tried to kill him as a boy and He was supernaturally spared.  He began His 3-year public ministry with the miracle of changing the water into wine at the marriage feast.  Then He went around doing good that meant miracles.  His message was "The Kingdom of God is at hand."  And to prove it He performed countless miracles and He healed everyone who came.

Matt 8:16

16 That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. All the spirits fled when he commanded them to leave; and he healed all the sick.

Matt 12:15

15 {Jesus, God's Chosen Servant--}...He left that area, and many people followed him. He healed all the sick among them. 

There are many more scriptures that verify God's intention to heal every disease and everyone who is sick.

 And here is the first key, that you come to Jesus for your healing and honestly and sincerely ask Him to save you. That is the 2nd key.  And by the word Save I mean save you from PTSD or whatever else has been put upon you by the Devil.  The word save includes much much more and we'll get to that as well.

 It is crucial to know that Jesus Christ and His healing power are not like man's medicine.  Take two doses of Jesus and call me in the morning, healed.  Jesus Christ is the creator of the heavens and the earth.  He knew you before you were born.  He knit you together in your mother's womb.  He created you to be a lover of God and for eternity.  He is the answer to the questions plaguing mankind and you personally regarding meaning and purpose of life. He created you to have a vital and intimate relationship with Him.   A vibrant, real relationship with God Himself is the highest and best that we can attain to.  He knows you infinitely better than you know yourself.  I was trying to understand a set of circumstances recently and the Lord gently rebuked me with a vision of a board.  An ordinary board.  He said look at this board and tell me what you see.  I didn't have time to answer.  He said, "you see the veneer of this board.  That's all.  I see the veneer plus the inside molecular structure and the back.  I also see where the board came from and where it is going."  This illuminated the scripture that says His ways are higher than our ways. (Isa 55:9)  That is how He knows you.  He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.  In Him is fullness of Joy, life, healing, wholeness, and provision.  It is OK to come to Him with doubt and unbelief but you must come open to Him.  With the heart attitude that you want to believe, help my unbelief.  In fact He wants you to invite Him, Jesus, Into your heart.  He wants you to give your life to Him that He may live through you.

I have a friend, Peter Willis, who set up a tent in Australia at a New Age festival.  They call it Jesus Tent of Miracles.  When people came in he simply told them of Jesus promises in the Bible.  Peter said Jesus was real and that throughout the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts Jesus and His believers healed the sick even raised the dead.   It is glaringly apparent that these miracles were authorized because God was proving to those people that the claims Jesus made about Himself were true. He is the Messiah. 

John 14:11...”Or at least believe because of what you have seen me do.”  We are doing exactly the same thing here.  We are saying Jesus is real, He's the Messiah, God!  And He wants to prove it to you personally right here and now.  Jesus didn't clean up people then heal them.  He healed them first to prove that He is God.  He is doing the same thing today, proving that He is God and He wants to prove it to you, particularly with the impossible.  We had a lady call our church by mistake a little while back.  She thought she was calling a different church.  She needed $4500 in a week or she would be evicted.  She had absolutely no means, no job.  Her husband had left her and she literally had no one to turn to.  Two women in our church visited her and prayed with her.  They simply asked Jesus to make a way where there was no way.  She got the money.   Have you tried human answers and they've not worked?  Try Jesus Christ.  Gulp and take that leap of faith and BELIEVE that He is the Christ (That means He is the Savior of the world). Accept Him as your Savior.  He is your Savior from PTSD or any sickness as well as your Savior from death and hell.   Either Jesus is who He says He is or He's not.  There is no middle ground.  Simply ask Him to save you, invite Him into your heart, to heal you and to fill you with His Holy Spirit.  If He doesn't then all of this Christianity is a useless sham, irrelevant to those real problems that have been destroying your life.  Simple enough, Truth or Dare!

 Pray this: Jesus, I come to you just like those people in Jerusalem, I am sick and I need help.  I am unable to heal myself.  Save me Jesus!

 What to expect:

I have looked back at periods of my life when every person we prayed for was healed.  That's correct, every person.  Most healings were gradual.  Some were instantaneous.  By participating, by reading what I've written, by acknowledging that spark of hope ignited by all the miracles I've posted and there are so many more that I could write about, by praying that little prayer and writing me and telling me that you've asked Jesus to Save you.  That's your part.  We don't really do anything just ask the Lord on your behalf and come into agreement with what He said, that by His stripes you are healed (Isa 53:5).  Jesus does the healing.  It's supernatural, which means outside of you and your power.  I'm not saying think this way or that and you will be healed.  Healing is a gift.  That means it isn't earned or deserved.  Just like salvation is a free gift and it isn't earned or deserved.  We merely receive it.  With mental and emotional healing, such as PTSD, the power of God will be displayed in your thoughts.  He will break the stronghold the enemy has built in your mind.  Jesus will destroy that fortress of guilt, condemnation, fear and unbelief.  Expose it to the light and illuminate it to your understanding.  What was an impenetrable fortress of pain God will remove and set your mind on The Rock, Jesus Christ.  Your healing may be immediate or it may be gradual, trust God, and trust His word.

2 Cor 10:3-4 We use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil's strongholds. With these weapons we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. NLT.    Allow Him to work.  If you've been sick a long time and you have no hope, it only makes sense that God's healing will be extraordinary, not what you expect.  Say Thank You!

As I've been praying about this page I have been listening to a preacher named David Hogan, whose messages are available in our Internet links.  He is a missionary to Mexico and has been raising people from the dead (he prays, God does the raising) for several years and they number just under 200.  It has been prophesied for many years that what is coming to the church is an anointing for restorative miracles.  That means limbs that are missing God will grow back.  Eyes that are blind or even missing will be restored to sight.  Wounds that have crippled will be healed and made like new again.  Jesus commanded us that if we'd believe we'd do greater works than He Himself would.  Let God arise! I believe that we are at the threshold of those miracles right now.  I know a healing evangelist who told me that he had saved his money and put it in a special account so he could go to Cambodia when this wave hits because there are more missing limbs there than anyplace on earth because of the land mines.  We from Russell, in fact, are a part of that same killing field.  I am simply saying what do we have to lose.  When I gave my heart and my life to Jesus one of the thoughts I had was if I rejected Him I would remain the same as I was right then without any hope for anything more.  Jesus offered me hope.  If half of what He promised happened I would have been happy.  But He has already done everything He promised and so much more.  The only thing standing between God’s power and us is looking foolish and I simply don't care what I look like.  There was a time in my life when I made multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and as I write this I am unemployed.  I have learned that God is my source.  He supplies my needs according to His richness and glory.  If this is incomprehensible know this, that God is real, He doesn't lie and therefore His promises are true.  What do you have to lose? Looking foolish? No big deal, we've all made fools of ourselves one way or another.  I want to see God restore limbs and eyes and function.  I know He can and I know He is no respector of persons.  He has done it in the past and I believe He wants to do it now.

Jesus, I am asking you to drop supernatural faith into our hearts to believe for new hands, arms, legs, ankles, feet and eyes.  I really can see it happening in my minds eye. When we ask it will just happen.  There will be nothing to it.  They will just grow out.  And You will receive all the glory and honor and praise.  Jesus forgive us for the sin of unbelief.  Help our unbelief.
