Skip's Reunion Pictures
Everyone arrived without incident on a stormy day in Washington. After an exciting descent between raging anvil topped thunder clouds, my plane was diverted from Washington National to Dulles because of wind shear. On landing approach at Dulles, it again was diverted back to Washington National and made a hot landing in rough winds. The pilot was good!
I hopped the subway train at the airport and then got off a mile early by mistake, allowing me a nice walk in the rain past the Smithsonian to the Hotel. Once you figured out how to pay for them and which stop you want, the subways provided comfortable and swift transportation in the D.C. area.
I took about 150 pictures at the reunion. I tried to organize them by event. Some are captioned, but most are not. Sorry, but that's the way it is. The reunion was a great success and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. I hope you enjoy the pictures I took.
