WEB SITE UPDATES

As you probably know, the LZ Russell Web Site is undergoing a complete rebuild in an entirely new style.  When it is completed, the pages will open faster and cut down on editing time by 90%, leaving our Webmaster with more time to devote to content development.  To do this, our Webmaster had to learn a completely new program for designing web pages, while he was updating the web site at the same time.  And while all this was going on, his main system got blasted by a bolt of lightening that destroyed every board in it...all of which had to be replaced.  In addition, he had to move to a new place so he could get high speed Internet access.  He's a little nutty right now, but he's staying at it.  So, if you were wondering why your stuff wasn't getting posted, now you know why. 

He has the new program pretty well figured out and the pace has picked up.  So check back to the LZ's Home Page often to see the news stuff that will start flowing in to it.

Many of you have sent in names of people you would like to place on our Memorial section.  Please be patient.  The Memorial Section rebuild is coming up soon.  All the new names and data will be posted then.  If you have pictures, a story, or personal comments you would like to add to any of the Memorial listings, new and old, don't hesitate to send them in now.

Also scheduled for rebuild are the Historical Documents, Beans 'n' Mofos, Top Secret, PX, Pictures and Veteran's Affairs sections.  We will announce when all the sections have been completed and all the data you have sent in has been posted.  Thank you for your patience.
