We're doing something good!

I would like to say "Thank You" to all of the men who were a part of the battle that took place on February 25,1969 on LZ Russell.
I have known Rick Davis for 12 years. He has shared the story of February 25th, I have seen the pictures and listened to his memories. But, I have never felt such strong emotion or seen through the eyes of a 19 year old kid, the incredible bond he shares with all of you. It is a brotherhood that only you can know. I just know that it has brought out a part of this man that I respect and love and hold very close to my heart.
I met several of you at the reunion in Las Vegas and look forward to meeting many more of you in Florida. Last year was an experience that touched me more than I can say.
Until we meet again,
Semper Fi
Leigh Davis

SPECIAL THANKS
To Tom Tilque, Webmaster of the 3/12 Network, for his continued service to LZ Russell.

Subject: Best site I have seen

Glad I found your site. Brought back alot of memories. I was a Sgt with Flsg-Bravo, Rations, Dong Ha from April 68-May 69. A buddy of mine from Nam who I hadn't seen, or heard from in 33 years, well we found each other while checking out sites like this, and he just e mailed me about your site. I am IMPRESSED, and PROUD of your organization, and your commitment to it, we of that era, are really the only ones that know how we felt about each other. Keep up the good work

The proud tradition of the United States Marine Corps continues into the 3rd Millennium.  It's still a great place for a kid to get off on the right foot as an adult.  Technology has taken quantum leaps, but the soul of the Marine Corps is still there.
