Everyone in our family is so proud of you and we think of you often. We wish you were here with us today. Your name, Anthony, is being carried by our son Tony and your sister Terry's son Anthony. I'll always remember my "best man" at my wedding. Your brother-in-law, Bob Wolf

From: Bob Chatigny, LZ Russell Association Member who is responsible for creating this Memorial to Lt. Giretti.

Lt. Giretti was my platoon commander and for a short time I walked point for our squad and platoon. In doing so I got to know him on a more personal basis. He was a fine Marine and officer and will be remembered as a “Semper Fi Marine” always and in all ways. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to his family.

Bob Chatigny, G2/4, 2nd platoon, 1st squad. Bob's Page
